The theme for Spring Fling 2009 was "Listening Prayer" lead by Gayle Mortimer, of Middle River Friends. We gathered at Lynnville, IA for a time of coffee and greetings followed by singing, devotions and a time of encouragement.

                                                        

    

Using Psalm 46:10,"Be still and know that I am God," Gayle led us in thinking about the question of why God created us. Learning to listen is a process that we all need to learn. The result will be a truly loving relationship with Him - communion in the truest sense - as well as better human relationships and more evidence of the fruits of the Spirit in our  lives.

                                

A time of fellowship was enjoyed during the lunch provided by Lynnville USFW.

                                

Many beautiful quilts and African items were available for viewing and purchasing.
