Membership Dues

GUIDELINES FOR IOWA UNITED SOCIETY OF FRIENDS WOMEN

The monies of the Iowa United Society of Friends Women come from the membership apportionment, the profit on literature sales, and one-half of each membership in the Eliza Armstrong Cox Fellowship.

Each Society has a choice of how their membership dues are paid:

A.  They may pay $2.50 for each woman member of the monthly meeting, or

B.  $5.00 for each individual member of a local Society, or

C.  Dues for a member-at-large to be determined by the Executive Committee of the Iowa United Society of Friends Women.

The fiscal year of the Iowa United Society of Friends Women is January 1 to December 31.  The local Societies may use this or any other fiscal year of their choice, as long as monies are paid regularly to the Treasurer of the Iowa United Society of Friends Women.

Funds that are accumulated in the treasury of the Iowa USFW are used at the discretion of the Executive Committee as needed for the good of all Iowa Societies, and designated funds are immediately sent to the projects or recipients.
